- Blogalia is the first blog service in Spanish. Developed in PHP and PostgreSQL. Was launched in Jan 2002. It hosts +300 blogs. It's a vibrant community dedicated to science, digital culture, and new technologies.
- Blogometro is a project developed on Python and PostgreSQL to track the Spanish blogosphere activity. Every day, it extracted new links posted to the Spanish blogs and made a raking of the most popular links.
- jibot is a social bot for IRC. JiBot stores data of an IRC channel's users and supports commands to query Amazon, Google and other services. It was originally designed for #joiito, the IRC channel of Joi Ito (Creative Commons CEO). Clay Shirky, New York University proffessor and a world-wide expert on social media, profiled JiBot in his book Here comes everybody: The Power of Organizing Without Organizations, (New York Times review).
